Upper Thames River Conservation Authority in collaboration with the Stratford Perth Museum will be hosting a P.A. Day Nature School Camp on June 6, 2025. Join us for a jam packed day of activities like Wetland & Insect Exploration, Train Station, Birding & Hiking, Wooly Big Skills, and more.

Supervised care from 8:30-9:30am*
Programming check in at 9:30am
Pick up at 3:30pm
Extended supervised care from 3:30-4:30pm*

Activities Include

Wetland and Insect Exploration: Using the unique wetland built for the museum, we will find out what lives in the water and the insects that live close by. Nets and bug catchers will be provided!

Train Station: Take a ride through history as we track the stories behind the train. Learn the old mechanics of locomotives and what’s new in the world of railways. Our train conductor challenges will be sure to keep us surging full steam ahead!

Wooly Big Skills: Pioneers were anything but sheepish. This station weaves through the resourceful methods of pioneers that made many of their necessities at home. The activity includes Wool Carding, Weaving, and Spinning.

Birding & Hiking: Using the unique trials around the museum property we will teach participants how to use binoculars for birding, identify birds and listen to some bird calls!
