Volunteer with Us

The Stratford Perth Museum is a vibrant, welcoming place, and we couldn’t do what we do without our volunteers.

Whether you love working with people, enjoy hands-on projects, or simply want to be part of something meaningful in your community, there’s a place for you here. One of the joys of volunteering at the Museum is that you get to experience so much of what we offer- from live music and special events to workshops and community conversations.

There’s always something happening, and always something to do. We’re happy to match your interests and passions with projects that feel right for you.

You might enjoy helping outdoors trail clean-up, planting, or general maintenance. Inside the Museum, we’re always grateful for an extra set of eyes and hands- whether it’s noticing the small things that need attention, helping prepare exhibitions, or supporting the day-to-day care of the building.

You might be someone who enjoys working with artifacts, helping our Collections Coordinator care for and catalogue donations, or someone who prefers being out front, welcoming visitors, assisting with tours, or supporting our many events.

Wherever your interests lie, your time makes a real difference here.

Ways to Get Involved

Collections & Research – Help care for and catalogue artefacts, and support research projects

Programs & Education – Support workshops, school programs, and community events

Tours & Visitor Experience – Welcome guests and assist with guided tours

Special Events – Help with greeters, bar service, parking, and event support

Building & Property Care – Assist with light maintenance, outdoor projects, and keeping the Museum looking its best
