Discover the joy of physical literacy, nature, and reading as you follow the pages of Colonel Chris Hadfield’s inspirational book The Darkest Dark on the Heritage Trails at Stratford Perth Museum from June 27 – Sept 2.
At this launch event, you will become a space explorer through creative activities, science experiments, astronaut challenges, and more!
Session 2
Explore the mysteries and magic of the night sky with the Stratford Astronomy Group at a Star Gazing Party at the Stratford Perth Museum.
Participants of all ages are invited to meet the experts to learn all about the constellations and discover the planets through a telescope for a closer look at what illuminates the sky at night.
This event is a kick-off to our latest Tales & Trails story, The Darkest Dark by Chris Hadfield which will be available to read on the Heritage Trails at Stratford Perth Museum. In the afternoon, we’re also hosting The Darkest Dark Launch Party.
