Upper Thames River Conservation Authority in collaboration with the Stratford Perth Museum will be hosting a P.A. Day Nature School Camp on January 31, 2025. Join us for a jam packed day of outdoor activities like fire building and snowshoeing and indoor activities like printmaking, learning about bees and the heritage stories connected to the faceless dolls.

Date and Times: January 31st, 2025 – 9:30 am to 3:30 pm

Additional Times:
Supervised care from 8:30-9:30am*
Programming check in at 9:30am
Pick up at 3:30pm
Extended supervised care from 3:30-4:30pm*

Cost: $60 per participant for the program ONLY
*Additional $15 for before and after care

Activities Include

Fire making: Learn some of the methods of fire starting and will be taught how to use some of the tools available to start a fire, and enjoy some fireside treats!

Snowshoeing: Discover the history of snowshoes and learn about the styles of different traditional indigenous snowshoes and their purpose. Then we will all go on a guided hike using snowshoes!

Beesy Hands: Buzz through the basic concepts of pollination and beekeeping.

The Three Sisters: Learn about local Indigenous peoples and their resourceful practices.

Printmaking: A hands-on printmaking activity.
