The Stratford Perth Museum is thrilled to announce the return of Canadian stage legend Rod Beattie, performing in the world premiere of Marsh Marigolds: An Agricultural Thriller — a brand-new theatrical work from celebrated playwright Dan Needles, creator of the beloved Wingfield Farm series.

Beattie, known coast-to-coast for his iconic portrayal of Walt Wingfield, introduces audiences to a new character, a mysterious new story, and the same razor-sharp wit and comedic timing that made him a national treasure.

Set in the quiet corners of farm country, Marsh Marigolds is a “rural noir” filled with suspense, romance, and dry humour — “as if Raymond Chandler got lost in Persephone Township,” says Needles.
