The Stratford Perth Museum is thrilled to announce the return of Canadian stage legend Rod Beattie, performing in the world premiere of Marsh Marigolds: An Agricultural Thriller β€” a brand-new theatrical work from celebrated playwright Dan Needles, creator of the beloved Wingfield Farm series.

Beattie, known coast-to-coast for his iconic portrayal of Walt Wingfield, introduces audiences to a new character, a mysterious new story, and the same razor-sharp wit and comedic timing that made him a national treasure.

Set in the quiet corners of farm country, Marsh Marigolds is a β€œrural noir” filled with suspense, romance, and dry humour β€” β€œas if Raymond Chandler got lost in Persephone Township,” says Needles.

πŸ—“ Performance Dates:

Saturday, August 16 at 4 PM
Sunday, August 17 at 2 PM (matinee)
Monday, August 18 at 7 PM

πŸ“ All performances take place indoors in the Co-operators Performance Theatre.
