Next Strong Female Lead event is SOLD OUT!

Vera McNichol is the subject for the Stratford Perth Museum’s next Strong Female Lead event Tuesday, March 3. The Strong Female Lead series takes place the first Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. Because of popular demand, the museum added a 7 p.m. “show” next Tuesday. Please know that both shows are Sold Out and if you did not get a ticket online or call into the museum to reserve a spot, we cannot guarantee you a seat or a spot next Tuesday. The museum apologizes for this but our space is limited and there are capacity restrictions. Also, given the number of people from the community involved in the presentation we are unable to add additional shows.

Innkeepers’ Dinner Has a New Date and a New Venue!

The 18th annual Innkeepers’ Dinner, in support of the Stratford Perth Museum, is a sure sign of spring.  Mark Saturday April 4th on your calendar and plan to attend Perth County’s most fun fundraiser! The Innkeepers’ Dinner always includes a delicious locally-sourced meal in keeping with a Perth County Inn from the 19th century. In addition, there will be silent and live auctions, a gift card wall, a live band and lots of fun and frivolity. This year, the dinner shifts to the Best Western Arden Park Hotel in Stratford and in conjunction with the move, the museum will be curating a special pop-up exhibit. The Arden Park is on the site of the iconic Kroehler furniture factory and there will be a display of artifacts from the museum’s Kroehler collection at Innkeepers. The evening will end with dancing to live music by Corduroy Gordon! Doors open at 6pm and dinner is served at 7pm, Cash bar.  Innkeepers’ tickets are available now and the price is still just $120 and that includes  a charitable tax receipt for $100. How to get your tickets: 1. In person at Stratford Perth Museum – hours are 10am-4pm every day. 2. By phone at 519-393-5311 3. Online @ stratfordperthmuseum.ca and click on the the “Buy Tickets” tab at the top of the home page above!
