Now accepting nominations for Agriculture Wall of Fame

The Stratford Perth Museum Agriculture Wall of Fame committee is now accepting nominations for 2019.
The Wall of Fame is open to current or former residents of Perth County who have made outstanding contributions to agriculture in Perth County.
Nominations are solicited from the public and a committee determines the honourees.
A display celebrating the accomplishments of the honourees is part of a permanent display at the Stratford Perth Museum.
The 2019 honourees will be announced at the Stratford Rotary Rural-Urban Night which is April 18 at the Rotary Complex. The deadline for nominations is March 15.

We are Hiring a March Break Camp Assistant!

The Stratford Perth Museum is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic assistant for our March Break Camp. This camp runs for 5 full days from March 11th to 15th. Main duties include helping to facilitate camp activities, supervising camp participants, and helping with activity set up and clean up as required.

-experience working with children
-experience in a camp or classroom setting preferred
-willingness to lead activities and speak in front of a group
-wide range of mobility (sitting on the floor, hiking/outdoor games on uneven ground, etc.)
-ability to show constant enthusiasm and to help engage campers in camp activities
-current First Aid certification would be an asset
