Join us for an insightful, informative series that looks at the effect of textiles and clothing on the development of western society.
Beginning in the late medieval period, lecturer Joseph Hisey will lead us through a 500-year survey of the socio-economic and political aspects of cloth and its expression through personal identity and dress. His presentations are enlightening, revealing and witty.
